BELLINGHAM, Wash. (Nov. 14) - Mindy Cason and O'Lita McWilliams combined for 31 kills, but it wasn't enough against a balanced Western Washington attack as the host Vikings swept to a 30-27, 30-25, 30-25 Great Northwest Athletic Conference volleyball victory at Carver Gym tonight.
UAA (15-10, 9-8 GNAC) also got 15 digs from McWilliams, while the No. 3-ranked Vikings (23-1, 17-0) got a combined 39 kills from four players, led by Meghan Evoy's 12.
The Seawolves won the digs battle 63-53, but were unable to get offensive help from anyone other than Cason and McWilliams as the rest of the lineup totaled just 13 kills.
UAA closes the regular season Saturday at Seattle Pacific.
