SPOKANE, Wash. (Nov. 15) - UAA volleyball senior Jenny Mitchell closed out her career in style last weekend and has been rewarded as the Great Northwest Athletic Conference co-Player of the Week.

Mitchell, a 6-0 outside hitter from Everson, Wash., hit .278 with 29 kills in leading the Seawolves to road victories over Western Oregon and Humboldt State, Nov. 11 and 13.

Against WOU, Mitchell had 11 kills, 10 digs and four assists, including the set on match point in a 15-13, fifth-game victory. She followed that performance with 18 kills in just 32 attempts at HSU, where she also posted career-bests in aces (3), digs (21) and block assists (6).

The team captain completed her career No. 10 on UAA's all-time hitting percentage list at .223.

Mitchell shared the weekly award with Western Washington's Brianna Murray.
