ANCHORAGE ? Senior Matt Lojeski scored 22 points, shooting a perfect 7-of-7 from the field in the second half, and added five steals and three blocks to lead Hawaii over Pacific 71-60 in the third-place game of the 2006 Carr/Safeway Great Alaska Shootout tonight at Sullivan Arena.

The Rainbow Warriors (4-2), who also received double-figure scoring totals from Matt Gibson (13 pts) and Bobby Nash (10 pts), led wire-to-wire to clinch its highest finish in three Shootout appearances.

The ?Bows surged out to a 17-4 advantage in the first seven minutes of the game and would take a  34-20 at the half, scoring 19 points off 14 Tiger turnovers.

Hawaii maintained a double-digit lead the entire second half, leading by as many as 18 while connecting on 58.3 percent of its shots

The Tigers (2-3) were led in scoring by sophomore Anthony Brown's 19-point, 11-rebound effort.
