ANCHORAGE -- Emily Evans delivered 13 kills and six aces to lift Notre Dame de Namur to a 30-9, 31-29, 30-15 victory over LaGrange on Saturday night for third place in the Extended Stay Deluxe Invitational.
NDNU (5-5) also got nine kills and nine digs from outside hitter Lauren Quach, while middle blocker Sarah Perry put up eight total blocks, including six solos.
LaGrange (0-4) was led by Lisa Burgee's eight kills.
NDNU, which had defeated LaGrange earlier Saturday in round-robin play, had to fight a little harder in the evening match. The Argonauts trailed by as many as five points midway through Game 2 before coming back late to win it at 31-29.
