MADISON, Wis. - Senior goalie Brian Elliott recorded his 15th-career shutout and forward Michael Davies scored two goals to lead Wisconsin past Alaska Anchorage 4-0 here tonight in front of 13,576 fans at the Kohl Center.

The Seawolves (11-15-3, 7-15-1 WCHA), who have lost four straight league games, managed just 15 shots against one of the league's top defensive units and were held scoreless on the power play at 0-for-4. Freshman goalie Jon Olthuis recorded 38 saves in net for UAA, including 15 in the second period.

The Badgers (12-15-2, 9-11-1 WCHA) tied their season-high mark of 42 shots on goal, while going 1-of-9 with the man advantage.

UW led 1-0 after one period of action on an evenstrength tally by Matthew Ford at 16:17 of the first. Jake Dowell made it 2-0 at the 14:05 mark of the second before Davies would strike for the Badgers final two goals at 15:52 of the second and 13:51 of the third. Wisconson's fourth goal was scored on the power play.
