The Seawolves pulled to within one (2-1) at the 11:39 mark of the second on Grant's goal, but DU answered with a strike form Matt Glasser at 18:12 to take a 3-1 advantage into the final period.

Neither team scored in the third, as the Pioneers held a 9-7 shot advantage in the period.

UAA, which was outshot 28-26 for the game, was scoreless on five power-play opportunities. DU, which went 1-for-4 with the man advantage, was aided by a 25-save effort from senior goalie Peter Mannino.

Sophomore Jared Tuton earned his fifth assist of the season on UAA's lone goal.

The Seawolves return to Sullivan Arena for their final home series of the season next weekend (Feb. 29-Mar.1) as they host Minnesota.
