ANCHORAGE, ALASKA – Kris Carlson made 31 saves for Alaska Anchorage in a 3-0 loss to Bowling Green Saturday.
The Falcons capitalized on special teams scoring on two of their seven power-play opportunities.
Alex Barber recorded his first goal of the season after scoring on the rebound at 14:22 of the first period. Connor Ford and Max Johnson each assisted on the power-play goal.
Max Johnson collected his second assist of the night on a goal by Cameron Wright. Brandon Kruse found Wright who fired a one-timer past UAA goalie Kris Carlson at 4:00 of the third period.
Taylor Schneider scored the second power-play goal for Bowling Green at 16:31 with assists from Cameron Wright and Frede Letourneau.
BGSU finished with a 34-29 edge in shots, and BGSU held UAA 0-for-3 on the powerplay.
Alaska Anchorage will play at Minnesota State Nov. 22-23.
