Alaska Anchorage will hit the road for its first WCHA road series of the season when it travels to Alabama Huntsville this weekend.

UAA leads the all-time series with UAH 21-9-3, and the Seawolves lead the series in Huntsville 6-5-3.

Nick Wicks is currently riding a three-game scoring streak. The native of Delta, British Columbia has tallied seven points (two goals, five assists) in his last three games and eight points (two goals, six assists) in six games this season. Wicks ranks tied for sixth nationally in points by freshman (1.33), tied for 17th nationally in power-play goals (two) and tied for 20th nationally in assists per game (2.0).

Tomi Hiekkavirta is currently on a three-game point streak. The Helsinki, Finland, native has recorded six assists in the last games. Hiekkavirta leads the team in both career assists (19) and points (22).
Special Teams
Alaska Anchorage scored three power-play goals last week against Omaha. UAA is currently ranked tied for 13th nationally on the powerplay (25-percent) and is ranked 14th in special teams (54.7-percent).

The freshman class leads the team in goals (9), assists (14) and points (23).

Alex Frye scored a short-handed goal last week against Omaha. His short-handed goal was the first by a Seawolf since Oct. 7, 2018 when
Cam Amantea scored short handed against Colorado College. Frye leads the team with three goals this season.
Century Mark
Senior captain
Nolan Nicholas appeared in his 100th career game for UAA last week. The Thunder Bay, Ont., native has recorded four assists during his career.
Last Time Out
Alaska Anchorage lost the first (4-3) but tied the second game (3-3) in a non-conference home series with Omaha last week.
