ANCHORAGE, ALASKA – Nick Wicks scored for Alaska Anchorage but it wasn't enough as No. 13 Bemidji State defeated the Seawolves 4-1 Friday.
Adam Brady scored the first two goals for BSU at 19:53 of the first period and 4:34 of the second period.
Carter Jones scored at 9:39 of the second period, and Owen Sillinger concluded the Beaver scoring at 1:03 of the third period.
Nick Wicks scored his seventh goal of the season on the powerplay at 19:34 of the third period.
BSU out-shot UAA 31-19.
The Beavers finished 1-for-4 on the man-advantage, and the Seawolves were 1-for-3.
Kris Carlson made 13 saves and gave up three goals, before being replaced by Brandon Perrone who finished with 14 saves and one goal against.
UAA will host BSU Saturday in its final home game of the season. The teams six seniors will be honored before the game.
