BACK IN ACTION: The Seawolves will play half of their brief four-game spring schedule this week, ending a pandemic-induced 379-day layoff … UAA returns 10 players – including starters

Jahnna Hajdukovich – from last year … the Seawolves went 31-2 overall and won their sixth straight Great Northwest Athletic Conference regular-season title in 2019-20, adding the GNAC Tournament championship before the pandemic forced the cancellation of the NCAA Tournament; UAA was ranked No. 4 nationally and was the No. 2 seed in the West Regional Championships at the time of the cancellation.
THINGS TO KNOW: This week's games count for the Seawolves as far as statistics and overall record … this brief spring season is being played under the NCAA's COVID-19 exemption system, which is allowing teams to participate in competition outside each sport's regular playing seasons … all of the players on this year's team will retain their current season of eligibility for the 2021-22 campaign.
SCOUTING REPORT: Both of this week's opponents are NAIA programs that play in the Cascade Collegiate Conference … Multnomah has started 0-9, while Warner Pacific will enter Tuesday at x-x.
ALL-TIME SERIES: First meeting vs. Multnomah … UAA leads 3-1 vs. Warner Pacific … UAA and WPU split a back-to-back series in Anchorage, Nov. 18-19, 2002, with WPU winning 53-51 and UAA winning 75-46 … this will mark the teams' first meeting in Portland.
