After a weekend off, Alaska Anchorage returns to action with a two-game series at Air Force Nov. 4-5.
Series
Alaska Anchorage leads the all-time series with Air Force 15-5-2 and has a narrow 4-3-1 edge against the Falcons in Colorado Springs. UAA is 9-0-2 in its last 11 games against AFA, with the last 10 games played in Alaska, eight in Anchorage and two in Fairbanks. The Falcons have won three of the last four games played at the Cadet Ice Arena.Â
Point Streak
Sophomore
Maximilion Helgeson extended his point streak to four games after recording an assist in both games at Northern Michigan. The Anchorage native has recorded a point in five of six games this season and is tied for the team lead with six points.Â
Senior
Derek Hamelin is also on a four-game point streak with five assists, including one each game at NMU. His six points, all assists, is tied with Helgeson for the team lead in points.Â
Senior Leadership
The senior class produced plenty of offense at Northern Michigan, scoring two of the team's four goals and adding three assists.
Jamie Collins was the first senior to score a goal, when he lit the lamp at 15:56 of the third.
Caleb Hite became the second senior to score a goal with his empty-net goal less than four minutes later. The empty-net goal was the first by a Seawolf since Nov. 9, 2019 when Alex Frye, who was in the line-up for NMU, scored against Alabama-Huntsville.Â
Special Teams
The series at Northern Michigan was the first this season that Alaska Anchorage had not scored a power-play goal. Â
First Goal
UAA's 3-1 win at NMU was the Seawolves first win when the opponent has scored first.Â
Saves
Nolan Kent recorded his first win at UAA when he made 40 saves against his former team, NMU. The last time a UAA goalie made 40 saves was Kris Carlson at Bowling Green on Feb. 7, 2020.Â
Last Time Out
Alaska Anchorage split its last series at Northern Michigan Oct. 21-22. The Wildcats won the first game, 9-1, and the Seawolves were victorious in the second, 3-1.

Alaska Anchorage will play at Arizona State Nov. 11-12.Â
