TEMPE, ARIZ. – Jared Whale made 40 saves for Alaska Anchorage in a 3-0 loss at Arizona State Saturday.

The Seawolves and Sun Devils battled for over 37 scoreless minutes before Lukas Sillinger scored on the powerplay at 17:30 of the second period.
Ryan O'Reilly pushed the ASU lead to 2-0 when he scored his third goal of the season at 7:36 of the third period.
UAA pulled Jared Whale for the extra skater with three minutes remaining, but ASU was the one who scored with an empty goal at 18:52 of the third period.
