LAS VEGAS, NEV. – Ben Almquist scored two goals and added three assists for Alaska Anchorage in a 9-1 exhibition win over Liberty Thursday.

Caleb Hite, Conor Cole, Matt Johnson and Jarred White each scored in the first period to give the Seawolves a 4-0 lead.

Matt Kinash, Conor Cole and Max Helgeson each scored in the second period to push the lead to 7-0.

Ben Almquist scored both of his goals in the third period to complete the scoring for UAA.

Alaska Anchorage out-shot Liberty 62-16.

Jared Whale finished with 15 saves in goal for the Seawolves.

Both UAA (0-for-3) and LU (0-for-1) were scoreless on the powerplay.

Alaska Anchorage will host Simon Fraser Dec. 2-3.
