Hockey adds transfer Marritt

ANCHORAGE, ALASKA – University of Alaska Anchorage head hockey coach Matt Shasby announced that Connor Marritt will be transferring from Northern Michigan University to join the Seawolves for the 2022-23 season.

"We are very excited to add Connor to our team because he will bring a high level of compete to our forward group and excels in the hard areas of the game," said head coach Matt Shasby. "Along with being tough to play against he has the ability to generate offense."

Connor Marritt, a 6-1, 174-pound, forward, spent the previous two seasons at Northern Michigan University. The native of Kelowna, British Columbia recorded eight points (one goal, seven assists) in 58 games for the Wildcats. Marritt appeared in 165 games during his four-year career with the Vernon Vipers (BCHL) scoring 35 goals and 62 assists for 97 points.
