ANCHORAGE – Senior setter
Ellen Floyd dished 35 assists Friday to lead the Alaska Anchorage volleyball team to another historic hitting performance in a 25-15, 25-15, 25-18 sweep of Emmanuel College at the Alaska Airlines Center.
The Seawolves (5-0) connected for a .488 attack percentage, blasting 46 kills with just four errors on 86 attempts. It was the second straight plus-.400 mark for UAA – following a .427 performance in Thursday's sweep of Lubbock Christian – and ranked as the program's second-highest since NCAA volleyball went to rally scoring in 2001.
The Lions (0-1) were led by 11 kills from Taylor Roberts, while setter Gabrielle McGlamery had 29 assists and seven digs for the visitors from Franklin Springs, Ga.

Eve Stephens ripped 18 kills on .500 hitting, senior outside hitter
Lisa Jaunet had eight kills on career-best .667 hitting, and sophomore outside hitter
Nicole Blue had eight kills on .412 hitting. Sophomore middle blocker
Leilani Elder added career-bests of six kills and .500 hitting, along with a pair of blocks.

Talia Leauanae had a match-high 10 digs for UAA, which returns to the Alaska Airlines Center for another Seawolf Invitational match against West Region rival tonight at 7:30 p.m.
