Alaska Anchorage will play face a Hockey East opponent for the second straight week when it plays at Maine Friday and Saturday.  

Series
Alaska Anchorage is 4-5-2 all-time against Maine, and is 0-4-2 against the Black Bears in Maine. The last four games in the series have been played in Maine with Alaska Anchorage posting a 0-3-1 mark.  

Sweep
Last weekend's sweep at No. 13 UMass Lowell was the first sweep for Alaska Anchorage since Feb. 23-24, 2018 when it swept Alaska Fairbanks 5-3, 3-2.  

Whale of a Game
Freshman Jared Whale made 52 saves in last week's 4-2 win at No. 13 UMass Lowell. The last time a UAA goalie made 50 saves was Olivier Mantha at Ferris State on Feb. 18, 2017. 

Beating the Best
Three of the Seawolve's four wins this season have come against ranked opponents. 

Young Guys Step Up
Freshman scored three of the four goals in last week's 4-2 win at No. 13 UMass Lowell. 

Multi-Point Games
The Seawolves have recorded 12 multi-point games this season (see page 3), including three last weekend at UML. Ben Almquist leads all UAA players with three multi-point games. 

Third Period Comeback
Last week's 4-2 win at No. 13 UMass Lowell was the first time this season that Alaska Anchorage won after trailing going into the third period. The win was also the first win this season on a Friday. 

First Goal
Freshmen Brandon Lajoie and Dylan Finlay each scored their first career goals at UML last week. 

Last Time Out
Alaska Anchorage swept No. 13 UMass Lowell on the road 4-2, 3-2.  

Looking Ahead
Alaska Anchorage will have three weeks off before it faces Alaska Fairbanks in the final two games of the Alaska Airlines Governor's Cup Jan. 27-28.
