Alaska Anchorage leads the all-time series with Air Force 15-7-2 in a series that dates back to 1981. The Falcons swept the two-game series last season in Colorado Springs. UAA is 9-2-2 in the last 13 games against AFA.

Porter Schachle recorded the first multi-point game this season for the Seawolves when he scored two goals in the 3-2 win at Lake Superior State Saturday. The last time a Seawolf scored two goals in one game was Max Helgeson against Lindenwood on March 11, 2023. The Wasilla, native leads the team with three goals and is tied for the team lead with three points.

Brett Bamber are each on a two-game point streak. Last week at LSSU, Helgeson scored one goal and one assist, while Almquist and Bamber each tallied two assists.
Whale of a Goalie
Sophomore
Jared Whale has started three of four games this season with a 2-1-0 record. The Calgary, Alberta, native has a 1.97 goals against average and a .935 save percentage this season.
Penalty Kill
Alaska Anchorage allowed its first power-play goal this season in the 5-1 loss at Lake Superior State. The UAA penalty kill unit ranks 12th nationally at 94%.

Conference Mixer
Alaska Anchorage is one of five independents in college hockey but will play schools from four of the six conferences and each of the other six independents. Alaska Anchorage will not face a member of the ECAC or the NCHC, but will play four games against Arizona State this season.
