MINTURN, COLO. – University of Alaska Anchorage skier Astrid Stav finished on the podium at the DU Invite Saturday.
Stav placed third in the five-kilometer freestyle in 13:58.
Tuva Bygrave finished seventh (14:16), and Pascale Paradis was 11th (14:23).
Other finishes for the women included Beth Granstrom 16th (14:32), Alexandra Otto 18th (14:41) and Marlie Molinaro 21st (15:00).
Ari Endestad paced the UAA men with a ninth-place showing in 12:16.
Peter Hinds was 14th (12:22), Ethan Eski 21st (12:56), Corbin Carpenter 22nd (12:58) and Matteus Sokulsky 24th (13:39).
Tilde Baangman of Montana State won the women's race (13:30), and Andreas Kirkeng of Denver won the men's race (11:25).
Alaska Anchorage finished fifth of 10 teams with 495 points.
UAA will compete at the RMISA Alpine Qualifier on Feb. 22 and the NCAA West Regional Championships Feb. 23-25 in Bozeman, Mont.
