ANCHORAGE, ALASKA – The University of Alaska Anchorage had three Seawolves finish in the top-10 of the 20-kilometer classic races at the US Nationals/UAA Invite Sunday.
Anchorage local Peter Hinds finished seventh among RMISA competitors in 52:14.
Erling Bjoernstad finished ninth in 52:55, and Garrett Siever completed the scoring for UAA placing 19th (55:16).
Beth Granstrom led the UAA women with an eighth-place finish in 1:01:05.
Marit Flora, an Anchorage native, finished 12th (1:01:51).
Alexandra Otto and Marlie Molinaro both finished in the top-20 placing 15th (1:03:20) and 18th (1:05:26).
Alaska Anchorage is fourth in the team standings with 242 points.
Andreas Kirkeng of Denver won the men's race (50:47), and Kendal Kramer of Alaska Fairbanks won the women's race (58:17).
Alaska Anchorage will compete in the freestyle sprints Tuesday.
