ST. CLOUD, MINN. – Camden Shasby scored his first career goal and Karter McNarland recorded his team-leading third point of the season in a 5-1 loss at St. Cloud State Saturday.
Camden Shasby scored on the powerplay with a long wrister from the slot at 10:32 of the third period. Karter McNarland and Oren Shtrom recorded assists on the goal.
The Huskies scored a pair of power-play goals in the first 11 minutes of the opening period and finished 3-for-6 on the man-advantage. The Seawolves were 1-for-5.
St. Cloud finished with a 35-29 edge in shots.
Bryant Marks finished with 30 saves in his second start of the season.
Alaska Anchorage will head to Colorado for a two-game series at Denver Oct. 31 and Nov. 1.
