WALTHAM, MASS. – Ryan Johnson scored his first goal of the season for Alaska Anchorage but it wasn't enough as the Seawolves fell at Bentley, 2-1, in overtime Friday.
After a scoreless first period, Johnson scored at 3:25 of the second period with a wrist shot high on the glove side. Dimitry Kebreau tallied his fourth assist of the season on the play.
Dylan Cook tied the game on the powerplay when he tipped a shot by Arlo Merritt midway through the third period. Bentley finished 1-for-3 on the man-advantage. UAA was 0-for-3.
David Helledy scored the game-winning goal for the Falcons with a high wrister at 2:39 of overtime.
Tyler Krivtsov finished with 34 saves for the Seawolves.
Bentley finished with a 36-30 edge in shots.
Alaska Anchorage will close out the weekend series at Bentley Saturday.
