PORTLAND, Ore. (Feb. 12) – Alaska Anchorage men's basketball players
Luke Devine and
Sloan Lentfer were honored for their classroom performance Wednesday as both former Alaska prep stars were named to the Great Northwest Athletic Conference All-Academic Team, presented by Barnes & Noble College.
A senior from Wasilla, Devine was the lone three-time honoree among the league's 25 all-academic qualifiers, sporting a 3.21 overall grade-point average in management.
A sophomore from Anchorage (Grace Christian HS), Lentfer earned his first career honor with a 3.46 GPA in management.
To qualify for the GNAC All-Academic Team, nominees must be of sophomore eligibility or greater, have a minimum cumulative GPA or 3.20 or greater, be a letterwinner on their team, and must be in their second year of competition at the nominating institution.
