GIRDWOOD, ALASKA – Ashleigh Alexander and Ella Bromee each finished in the top-10 to lead the University of Alaska Anchorage ski team at the RMISA Championships Thursday.
Alexander finished seventh (1:29.91), and Ella Bromee was eighth (1:29.96) in the giant slalom race.
Olivia Carrier and Carmen Nielssen finished 15th (1:33.19) and 16th (1:33.22).
Jan Ronner was the top UAA man placing 19th (1:25.14).
Dylan Timm was 22nd (1:25.49), Caeden Carruthers 28th (1:29.72), Hunter Eid tied for 29th (1:30.20) and William Cashmore was 31st (1:31.31).
The Seawolves are currently fourth in the team standings.
Colorado won the individual titles with Louis Fausa winning the men's (1:23.22) and Magdalena Luczak winning the women's (1:26.96).
Both the alpine and Nordic teams will be in action Friday. The alpine team will be competing in the slalom races at Alyeska Resort and the Nordic team will be competing in the 7.5-kilometer classic race at Kincaid Park.
