ANCHORAGE, ALASKA – Jan Ronner finished seventh and three other members of the University of Alaska Anchorage finished in the top-10 on the final day of the RMISA Championships Saturday.
Jan Ronner posted the fifth-fastest first run and went on to finish seventh in the slalom in 1:30.67.
Carmen Nielssen was the top-finisher in the women's slalom finishing ninth in 1:42.58.
In the men's 20-kilometer freestyle race, Peter Hinds finished eighth (51:15.1), and Derek Deuling was ninth (51:16.6).
Matt Seline finished 12th (51:18.3), and Corbin Carpenter was 16th (52:11.7).
Marit Flora finished 14th (59:43.0), and Marlie Molinaro was 15th (59:53.1).
Beth Granstrom and Astrid Stav finished 18th (1:01:17.0) and 20th (1:01:37.5).
Other finishes in the slalom included Ashleigh Alexander 17th (1:44.65) and Dylan Timm 22nd (1:32.67). Timm ripped the second-fastest second run of the day.
UAA finished fourth of nine teams with 421 points.
Selections for the 2025 NCAA Skiing National Championships will be announced Tuesday. The NCAA National Championships will take place in Hanover, N.H., March 5-8.
