MIDWAY, UTAH – Corbin Carpenter of the University of Alaska Anchorage skated his way to a fifth-place finish at the Utah Invite Saturday.

Carpenter covered the 7.5-kilometer course in 18:06.

Alexandra Otto was the top finisher for the Seawolves in the women's race placing 15^th (22:05). Dashe McCabe was 19^th (22:42).

Matt Seline finished 21^st (19:02) and Erling Bjornstad was 26^th (19:31).

UAA is currently sixth of nine teams with 91 points.

Alaska Anchorage will compete in the 15-kilometer classic races Sunday.
