STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, COLO. – The University of Alaska Anchorage had four Seawolves finish in the top-10 on the final day of the Colorado Invite Saturday.
Erling Bjornstad led the UAA men finishing fifth in the 7.5-kilometer classic in 21:22. Corbin Carpenter was one spot behind in 21:24.
Dashe McCabe was the top finisher for the Seawolves in the women's race placing seventh in 24:52.
Constance Lapointe was 10th (25:12), Alexandra Otto 18th (25:47) and Marit Flora 19th (25:50).
Other finishes for the men included Hermod Bangstad 16th (22:07), Parke Chapin 22nd (23:03) and Matt Seline 23rd (23:08).
UAA finished fifth of nine teams.
Utah's Erica Laven won the women's race (22:41), and Johannes Flaaten of Colorado won the men's race (21:01).
Alaska Anchorage will compete in the giant slalom races at the Utah Invitational Feb. 22.
