FRISCO, COLO. – Corbin Carpenter led the Alaska Anchorage ski team with a third-place finish in the 10-kilometer classic at the DU Invite Saturday.

He covered the course in 25:09, four seconds behind race winner Storm Pedersen of Colorado.

Garrett Siever finished sixth (25:45), and Erling Bjornstad finished 14^th (26:10).

Marit Flora led the UAA women finishing eighth (29:52), with Dashe McCabe 10^th (29:58).

Alexandra Otto and Constance Lapointe finished 15^th (30:18) and 16^th (30:45).

UAA is currently fifth of nine teams with 344 points.

Tilde Baangman of Colorado won the women's race in 27:52.

Alaska Anchorage will compete in the 7.5-kilometer freestyle Sunday.
