SOLDIER HOLLOW, UTAH – Erling Bjornstad, Corbin Carpenter and Marit Flora each skied to All-American honors in the 7.5-kilometer classic race at the NCAA Skiing National Championships Thursday.
Erling Bjornstad finished third in 18:48.3, and Corbin Carpenter was fifth in 18:54.5.
Marit Flora led the UAA women with a seventh-place finish in 26:15.0.
The All-American honor was the second for Carpenter, while it was the first for Bjornstad and Flora.
Marlie Molinaro finished 24th (29:23.9), and Dashe McCabe was 34th (30:37.4).
The Seawolves are currently seventh of 22 teams with 129 points.
John Hagenbuch of Dartmouth won the men's race (18:25.3), and Rosie Fordham of Alaska Fairbanks won the women's (24:08.0).
The NCAA Skiing National Championships continue Friday with the slalom races.
