PORTLAND, Ore (July 7) – The University of Alaska Anchorage had 51 student-athletes receive the Great Northwest Athletic Conference's Faculty Athletic Representative's Scholar-Athlete Award on Tuesday.

UAA's contingent was among 388 total honorees in 2025-26, spread among the league's 10 full-member institutions and two satellite members.

Senior volleyball player Madison Galloway earned the award for the third consecutive year and was among 20 Seawolves to maintain a perfect 4.00 grade-point average.

The award honors student-athletes with a cumulative GPA of 3.85 or higher. All student-athletes at a GNAC full-member schools are eligible, regardless of whether the sport is sponsored by the GNAC.
