2019-20 SEASON: Earned WCHA Scholar Athlete and WCHA All-Academic Team honors ... appeared in 30 games recording three assists. 

2018-19 SEASON: Played in 29 games ... tied for third on the team with nine points (three goals, six assists) ... recorded first point in the Green and Gold with an assist in the season-opener against Colorado College ... scored first goal at Ferris State on Oct. 27th.

PRIOR TO UAA: Recorded 26 points (two goals, 24 assists) in 48 games for the Powell River Kings (BCHL) during the 2014-14 season ... recorded one assist in 20 games for UMASS (Hockey East) during the 2015-16 season ... played in two games with one assist before returning to the Powell River Kings where he tallied 11 points (three goals, eight assists) in 19 games in 2016-17 ... recorded 34 points (seven goals, 27 assists) in 54 games during the 2017-18 season. 

PERSONAL: Son of Mauro and Kelly Buono ... has one sister and one brother ... a 2015 graduate of Burnaby North Secondary School ... a business major.
