2001: Suffered a knee injury in preseason that precluded her from playing all but one game her senior season. Remained with the Seawolves through the entire campaign however, supporting the team in practices and from the bench during matches. Accordingly, she was voted Most Inspirational Player by her teammates.
2000: Earned All-Pac West Academic Team honors after appearing in all of UAA's 32 matches...ranked sixth on the team in digs per game (1.7)...served UAA season-high and personal-best seven aces in Aug. 25 win over St. Cloud State...tallied double-digit digs eight times...enjoyed best offensive showing of her career (.429, 4-1-7) in five-game win at Western New Mexico (Sept. 15).
1999: Played in all 27 matches, coming off the bench in all but one...95 games played was fourth-highest on the team...ranked fourth on the team in digs (216) and fifth in digs per game (2.27) despite playing only three rotations...had a career-best 20 digs in a four-game win over Western New Mexico (Sept. 17).
BEFORE UAA: Played her freshman season at Rollins College in Winter Park, Fla....notched 120 kills, 27 aces, 259 digs and 30 blocks in 103 games in 1996...voted Rollins' most inspirational player...attended Brigham Young for the 1997-98 academic year but did not play volleyball.
HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letterwinner at Chugiak High...two-time co-captain...received all-region and all-state honors in 1995 and '96...sophomore member of Mustang team that won the Class 4A state title...1996 team won Region IV title with 20-2 record...class valedictorian...captain of school's dance/drill team, The Chaparrals...recipient of U.S. Marine Corps Scholar-Athlete, Presidential Scholar and Tandy Technology Scholar awards.
PERSONAL: Member of silver medal-winning volleyball squad at the 1996 Arctic Winter Games...played with Midnight Sun club team from 1993-96...born Bobbi Spring Souter on Feb. 22, 1978 in Ogden, Utah...daughter of Robert and Pauline Souter...major is physical education.
