2015 (Jr): Saw action in every meet, with eight all-arounds and a pair of three-event performances … all-around average of 38.156 ranked No. 8 on UAA single-season list, while RQS of 38.255 ranked No. 9 … also had UAA’s No. 2 bars average and 13th-best in program history at 9.568 … tripled career victories total, winning all-around and floor against Winona State on Jan. 10, on floor at SPU, and on beam at Harley Davidson Invitational ... tied for team’s best floor score of season with 9.825 at Seattle Pacific … earned career-high 38.550 all-around at SPU to help Seawolves to first-ever road dual victory over rival Falcons … had 9.7 on bars, 9.675 on beam and 9.525 on vault to help UAA to school-record 193.825 total in Mar. 9 win at Air Force … helped UAA break school records for highest season average (191.627) and RQS (192.605) … landed spot on All-MPSF Team as all-arounder … tied for highest GPA on All-MPSF Academic Team for second straight year with perfect 4.00 overall mark.

2014 (So.): Competed in all 11 meets, including eight three-event performances and one all-around … earned All-Mountain Pacific Sports Federation honors on balance beam with 9.645 regional qualifying score … earned team’s second-best average on vault at 9.556 … earned 37.975 total in lone all-around, helping UAA to season-high team score at MPSF Championships … scored 9.45 or higher on all nine vaults, including season-best 9.65 at Illinois State … also had season-best beam score of 9.7 at ISU on Feb. 7, followed by season-best 9.65 bars score two days later at SE Missouri … was one of just three gymnasts on MPSF All-Academic Team with 4.00 overall grade-point average.

2013 (Fr.): Saw action in all 10 meets, including four all-around performances … average all-around score of 37.975 tied for 11th on UAA all-time chart … season beam average of 9.575 ranked third on team and No. 7 in program history … helped UAA set season team average records on vault (48.295), bars (47.760), beam (47.875) and total score (191.850) … won all-around in second competition of career with 38.450 score at Rutgers tri-meet, Jan. 12, topping seven-woman field … equaled season-high with 9.75 on beam and 38.450 all-around vs Eastern Michigan, Feb. 17, helping UAA to No. 3 team score (192.850) in program history … sprung season-best 9.7 vault at MPSF Championships.

BEFORE UAA: Competed in international events throughout Europe, including World Cup meets in Osijek, Croatia, and Porto, Portugal, and European Championships in Clermont-Ferrand, France … competed for Austrian National Team and in German ‘high school’ league from 2009-12 … competed at club level for KTV (Carinthian Gymnastics Club).

PERSONAL: Born November 1993 in Klagenfurt, Austria … daughter of Elisabeth Penker and Hugo Scharf …  represented Austrian National Team at 2014 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in China ... enjoys reading, shopping and listening to music … natural sciences major.
