Jennie Szczerbinski, a native of Saukville, Wis., closed out a remarkable four-year career by capturing conference Player of the Year honors for the second time. A two-time All-Northwest Region selection, Szczerbinski led the Seawolves to a 24-10 mark as a senior, matching the school record for victories. She was fourth in the final NCAA Division II stats with 4.52 digs per game, and her career total of 2,108 digs is seventh among the all-time Division II leaders. Szczerbinski also set a school record with 535 kills her senior year and ranked eighth nationally in that category. She still holds 11 Seawolf records. In 2003 she was inducted into the Seawolf Hall of Fame.
