Jon Pauole, a swimmer from Hilo, Hawaii, wound up a phenomenal career as UAA’s only four-year All-American. Pauole was a four-time All-American in the 100 butterfly, and added All-America finishes in both the 100 and 200 backstroke and the 200 individual medley during his career. He also won All-America honors as a member of 200 and 400 medley relay teams. Pauole set five individual school records and was a member of three school-record relay teams. He was inducted into the 2002 Seawolf Hall of Fame class.
