Michael Johnson, from Stockton, Calif., wrapped up two years with the Seawolf men’s basketball team by being named to the NCAA Division II All-America First Team. A two-year starter, Johnson averaged 18.1 points per game over that span and finished with 1,085 career points, which still ranks among the top 20 on the all-time UAA scoring list. The two-time all-league performer was named to the Great Northwest Conference First Team in 1989. In 2001 he became the fourth Seawolf men's basketball player to have his jersey retired.
