Teri Frankie, from Edmonds, Wash., was UAA’s first two-time Athlete of the Year award winner. A three-time All-American (1985, 1986 & 1990), Frankie missed most of the three seasons in between due to serious knee and ankle injuries. A charter member of the Seawolves’ gymnastics team when it began in 1984, Frankie established herself as the team’s most consistent performer throughout her career. She was a member of the inaugural Seawolf Hall of Fame class in 2001.
