Biography

2024-25: CROSS COUNTRY: Finished 51st at the GNAC Championships and 108th at the NCAA West Regional. INDOOR: Did not compete. OUTDOOR: Ran personal-bests of 4:10.69 for 1,500, 15:23.86 for 5,000 and 32:21.45 for 10,000. 

Prior to UAA: Six-time regional champion and twice finished in the top-10 at the state meet for Juneau Douglas High School...ran personal-bests of 16:17 for 5K and 4:32 for 1,600. 

Personal: Son of Edgar Vera Garcia and Nallely Alvarado...has two siblings, Evelyn and Imanol Vera Alvarado...enjoys mountain running and music...favorite athlete is Geoff Roes...favorite food is egg benedict.
