Casey Reed

Casey Reed enters his second season of college coaching in 2010-11 as a graduate assistant on Rusty Osborne’s staff.

Reed was a second-team All-Great Northwest Athletic Conference player at rival Seattle Pacific, helping the Falcons to consecutive NCAA Tournament second-round appearances as a junior and senior.

In 2009 he was SPU’s team MVP, most inspirational player and co-captain, averaging 11.2 points, 4.9 rebounds more than one blocked shot per game.

A two-time GNAC All-Academic selection, Reed was also recognized for his classroom work as a CoSIDA Academic All-District honoree.

Reed attended the U.S. Naval Academy where he played as a freshman in 2005-06. He was a first-team all-state selection as a senior at Canby (Ore.) High School.
