Biography

2021-22 (Jr.): Played in nine games for Seawolf team that went 15-9 and placed third in Great Northwest Athletic Conference … averaged 2.2 points and 1.0 rebound per contest, shooting .400 (6-15) from the field and .875 (7-8) at the free-throw line … cracked scoring column five times … top efforts were nine points (3-5 FG) in Nov. 20 win over Lincoln Christian and four points in 75-70 comeback victory at Simon Fraser.

BEFORE UAA: Starred at JC program Central Wyoming as a freshman and sophomore, and spent 2020-21 pandemic season at Div. I program Bryant, where he did not play due to injury ... as a sophomore in 2019-20, started all 31 games for a Rustler team that went 20-11 … led his team at 17.0 points per game on .455 (148-325) overall shooting, .357 (40-112) three-point shooting and .800 (192-240) from the foul stripe … tied for the team lead at 6.0 rebounds per game while adding 2.6 assists and 0.9 steals per game … ranked 8th in NJCAA in made free throws/game (6.2), while his 972 minutes played ranked 30th nationally ... scored double figures in all but two games and had 10 20-plus efforts ... had career-high 28 points (9-15 FG, 3-6 3FG, 7-8 FT) in a 76-70 win over Eastern Wyoming and 27-point showings against both Western Wyoming and Laramie County … started 22 of 30 games as a freshman in 2018-19, averaging 12.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.3 steals per contest, and shooting .444 overall, .361 on threes and .722 on free throws … topped the 20-point plateau three times as a rookie, including 27 points against Gillette.

HIGH SCHOOL: Starred in basketball and football at Grant High, helping team to the Oregon 6A state championship and a 25-4 record as a senior in 2017-18 … named an Oregon Coaching Association Senior All-Star selection … member of Black Student Union and the school choir.

PERSONAL: Son of Kim Spaulding and Darren Guinn … brother Jordan Railey played at Iowa State and Washington State before a professional career that included time in the NBA G-League.
