Biography

2014-15 (Jr.): Saw action in 27 of 29 games, including nine starting assignments for UAA team that finished 16-13 and tied for 3rd in GNAC with 12-6 league mark … had best game against Div. II competition with 11 points and 4 assists in home win over Simon Fraser … other top games included 10 points (3-7 3FG) and 5 assists in home loss to nationally ranked BYU-Hawaii; 3 assists and no turnovers in road win over Alaska Fairbanks; and 5 points (1-1 3FG, 2-2 FT), 2 assists and 1 steal in road win over SFU.

BEFORE UAA: Played two seasons at Scottsdale (Ariz.) Community College … ranked 11th in ACCAC in scoring with 17.2 points per game as a sophomore in 2013-14, along with 2.3 assists per game and shooting numbers of .441 FG, .416 3FG and .813 FT … set school record with 47 points (13-22 FG, 9-14 3FG, 12-14 FT) to lead SCC to 120-116 double-OT win over Glendale, along with 33-point outing in 86-83 win over Eastern Arizona … averaged 9.0 ppg, 2.6 apg and shot 91.2 percent from FT line as freshman for the Fighting Artichokes, earning NJCAA Div. II All-Region Second Team honors.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered three years at Pinnacle High School, helping squad to back-to-back State Final 4 appearances in 2011 and 2012 … set PHS single-season FT% record at 87 percent as senior in 2011-12, averaging 11.2 ppg, 2.2 rpg, 2.2 apg and .466 FG% for Pioneers team that went 30-4 overall and 16-2 in league play … averaged 14.3 ppg on .432 FG% as junior in 2010-11 and put up 8.0 ppg as sophomore … played for Arizona Magic AAU team.

PERSONAL: Born Nov. 23, 1993 in Scottsdale, Ariz. … son of Kim and Bill Bowman … has two brothers and one sister … also enjoys hiking and longboarding … finance major.
