HIGH SCHOOL: Captained Point Hope to its first ASAA Class 2A State title since 2001, scoring 24 points in title-game victory over Noorvik … averaged 24 points, 6 assists and 5 rebounds as senior in 2008-09, earning Anchorage Daily News first-team all-state honors for second straight season … three-time all-region honoree … made 13 all-tournament teams during prep career, including MVP honors at ACS Invitational … helped Harpooners’ mixed-6 volleyball team to state berths three times (’06, ’07, ’09) … was class salutatorian and member of Mayor’s Youth Advisory Council … served as student representative on North Star Borough’s school board … lettered four times in basketball and three times in volleyball.
