University of Alaska Anchorage Athletics

Chris Kamal returned to the University of Alaska Anchorage as an assistant coach in the fall of 2023. He previously served as an assistant coach with the Seawolves from 2016-18 after serving as the director of hockey operations and strength and conditioning coach in 2015-16. 

He has worked with the Anchorage Wolverines of the NAHL and the Atlanta Fire Hockey Club. 

Kamal was a four-year starter in goal for the Seawolves appearing in 71 games and finishing his career with a 3.03 goals against average and an .888 save percentage. 

He earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Alaska Anchorage in 2014.
