Biography

2006: Posted best season at UAA, including recording five top-10 RMISA finishes ... top-10 results were first in career ... recorded career-best finish of sixth in three races (15k classical, UAA Invite; 10k classical, Montana State Invite; 20k freestyle, Colorado Invite) ... second Seawolf across finish line in two races ... finished RMISA season ranked seventh in the classical and ninth in the freestyle ... one of four Seawolf men's Nordic skiers to rank in the top 10 in points during the RMISA regular season in both the classical and freestyle events.

2005: Established new collegiate career-best finish of 11th in the 10K classical at the RMISA/NCAA West Regionals ... other top performance was a 13th-place effort in the classical at the Utah Invitational ... finished fifth at the Alaska Nordic Cup (dual against UAF) ... skied in eight races.

2004: Qualified for the NCAA Championships for first time in his career ... top finish at Nationals was 16th in the 20K classical ... one of UAA's top-3 men's skiers, competed in all 10 events as a sophomore ... best finish was a career-best 14th-place effort in the 10K at the Colorado Invite.

2003: Competed in six races, all in the first half of the season ... placed 20th in the 15K freestyle at the Montana State Invitational for his best finish of the season.

BEFORE UAA: Lettered four times each in cross country, nordic skiing and track at Soldotna High ... placed in the top 10 at the state cross country championships two times in his career ... was a two-time borough nordic ski champion ... was region runner-up in nordic skiing ... placed in the top 10 at Junior Nationals ... honored with his high school's Most Dedicated Skier award ... member of three state cross country championship teams.
