PRIOR TO UAA: Won individual and team Colorado state championships at Aspen High School ... earned GPA Award ... finished 50th in the 10K freestyle junior race at the National Championships in Craftsbury, Vt. 

PERSONAL: Born August 3, 2001 ... plans to major in psychology ... son of Brian and Sherrill.
