PRIOR TO UAA: North Norwegian champion in the 20-kilometer classic...three-time regional champion in Troms skikrets...winner of the U20 in Reistadløpet...podium finish at the Swedish Junior Cup. 

PERSONAL: Son of Karl-Gunnar Skjønsfjell and Monika Løvøy...his father won the jizerska ski marathon and finished sixth in the World Cup.
