2005: Capped senior season by earning second-career All-America award after finishing 10th in the women's 5K classical at the NCAA Championships...produced four top-10 finishes in non-dual events, with a season-best outing of fourth in the 5K classical at the season-opening Utah Invitational...NCAA qualifier for second straight season.

2004: Had a breakout season in 2004, which included earning All-America status for the first time in her career...placed eighth in the women's 15K classical at the NCAA Championships...a second team all-conference honoree, recorded eight top-10 finishes, including two in the top 3...won first career collegiate race in the 10K freestyle at the Utah Invitational...became first American women to win a RMISA race since 2001...was named RMISA women's nordic skier of the week Jan. 26...an All-Academic Ski Team honoree.

2003: Raced in nine events her sophomore year...placed 19th in the 10K classic and 25th in the 5K freestyle at the 2003 NCAA West Regional...best outing was a 14th-place finish in the 5K classic at the Montana State Invite.

2002: Finished 23rd in the 5K classic and 24th in the 10K freestyle at the 2002 NCAA West Regional.

BEFORE UAA: Team captain of high school's ski team in 2000 and 2001 ... competed on the Junior National Team in 2001 ... also participated in swimming, track and cross country running.

PERSONAL: Born Sarah Marie Hansen May 14, 1983 in Anchorage, Alaska ... parents are Ted and Helle Hansen ... had an aunt and uncle who skied collegiately ... was on the honor roll at Colony High School four years ... was awarded the Key/Kiwanis Club Community Service Scholarship ... enjoys foreign language and traveling ... double majoring in languages and history.
