2006 GNAC CHAMPION - High Jump 

2007: Earned all-conference honors for second consecutive season after finishing second in the men's high jump at the league championship meet ... cleared 6-6 at GNACs ... season-best mark was 6-6 3/4 at the Willamette Invitational ... recorded top-5 efforts at all three meets he participated at ... best result was first at the Willamette Invite. 

2006: Won GNAC title in high jump by posting a league and school record mark of 6-9½ ... voted GNAC Male Newcomer of the Year by the league's coaches ... became first UAA athlete to win a conference championship in a field event ... earned all-conference honors ... recorded five top-3 finishes, including two victories and two second-place efforts ... jumped 6-8 or better at three meets ... competed on Seawolves' 4x100-meter relay team.

BEFORE UAA: Led U.S. team to title of the 41st annual SHAPE International Tournament in Belgium, Nov. 28-Dec. 2, 2004 ... leading scorer in the 10-team event, putting up 38 points (10-15 FG, 8-11 3FG, 10-10 FT) in the championship game against Italy ... in June 2004, was the top scorer (26.0 ppg) in the Armed Forces Basketball Championship in Charleston, S.C., leading the All-Army team to a 6-0 record and the tournament title ... played two seasons for St. Petersburg (Fla.) Junior College in 1996-97 and 1997-98 ... Suncoast Conference Player of the Year as sophomore, averaging 19.9 ppg ... first team all-conference as freshman with a 23.3 ppg average.

HIGH SCHOOL: Basketball and track star at White Station High School, in Memphis, Tenn., where he set the state record for the high jump at 7 feet, 2 inches.
