YNGVE AT UAA: Competed in three cross country races freshman season (2004). Top outing was a second-place finish at the Palmer Invite.

HIGH SCHOOL: A two-time state champion in the 3200-meter run...a two-time region champion in the 3200...earned one region title in the 1600-meter run...holds school record in 5000-meter run.

PERSONAL: Born January 23, 1986 in Kodiak...son of Pam and Glenn Yngve...undecided on a major.
