Biography

2001-02: Saw action in every game her senior season, averaging 3.7 points and dishing 1.6 assists per game...scored a season-high 10 points in win over Christian Heritage (Nov. 13) and tossed in nine points in win over Mercy (Dec. 30)...had four assists against Saint Martin’s (Jan. 3) and in Great Alaska Shootout vs. Division I Gonzaga (Nov. 20).

2000-01: Emerged midway through the season as the team's backup point guard after Sarah Larrabee went down with an injury...exploded for a career-best 15 points (7-10 FG) in a Jan. 25 home win over Western New Mexico...also dished three assists in that game...earned her first-ever start Feb. 22 in a win over Seattle University...scored 11 points in Feb. 17 loss to conference champ Seattle Pacific.

1999-00: Saw action in five games...nailed her first career three-pointer in season's home finale vs. Humboldt State.

HIGH SCHOOL: An all-state, all-region and team MVP selection three years in a row at Sand Point High...served as team captain at SPHS for two years...led Sand Point to the 1997 1A state championship...received honorable mention All-USA Girls Basketball accolades as a senior, averaging 19 points per game...a three-time team MVP in cross-country running.

PERSONAL: Born Diana Rose Gundersen on Feb. 14, 1979 in Anchorage...sister Jade was a former player at Alaska Fairbanks...daughter of Kim and Laiv Gundersen...has two older brothers, Michael and Kristoffer...major is elementary education.
