Biography

2023-24 (Jr.): Played in every game for Seawolf team that went 19-9 and finished third in Great Northwest Athletic Conference at 13-5, averaging 5.6 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.2 assists … accounted for at least one field goal in all but two games, and logged at least 10 minutes in 27 of 28 contests … propelled OT victory over No. 9 MSU Billings with season-high 12 points (6-8 FG), 3 rebounds and 3 assists … other top efforts included 8 points (4-4 FG), one assist and no turnovers in GNAC Tournament quarterfinal win over Seattle Pacific; 11 points in Dec. 8 win over Clarion; and 10 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, no turnovers and 2 steals in neutral-court win over Hawaii Hilo.

BEFORE UAA: Spent three seasons at Central Arizona College, playing alongside current Seawolf teammate Senya Rabouin … was Vaqueras’ third-leading scorer in 2022-23, averaging 13.3 ppg on .409 overall and .351 (68-185) on three-point shooting, along with 4.4 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.4 steals per contest … scored double figures in 21 of 30 games in final season, including career-high 29 points (9-11 3FG) in victory over Southern Nevada … posted 8.3 ppg, 3.2 rpg, 4.0 apg and 1.5 spg in 29 games as Covid freshman in 2021-22.

HIGH SCHOOL: Averaged 25 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists per game as senior at Bishop Amat, leading her team to 2020 CIF Southern Div. 2 title-game appearance and capturing First Team All-CIF Div. 2 and First Team All-Del Ray League honors … also garnered All-CIF honors in first three prep campaigns … played varsity all four years.

PERSONAL: Born Oct. 20, 2002 in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. … daughter of Toni and Sheldon Ross … has one sibling, Shelby … enjoys snowboarding and mountain biking … favorite food is calamari.
